Custom mouthguards
Custom made mouthguards can help protect teeth during sport. At CFS Dental, mouthguards are commonly provided for children who play sport, and they may also be appropriate for adults who participate in contact sport.
Occlusal splints for teeth grinding
Bruxism is the grinding or clenching of the teeth, and it often occurs at night.

Bruxism can damage the jaw joints and fracture teeth. If you suspect you are grinding or clenching your teeth, we recommend speaking with your dentist.

An occlusal splint may be recommended depending on your individual needs. We’ll assess your teeth, jaw, and oral health before discussing whether a splint may be appropriate for you.

Snoring & sleep apnoea appliances
CFS Dental provides custom made oral appliances for snoring and for patients diagnosed with sleep apnoea.

If snoring is a concern, we’ll discuss your symptoms and complete a screening. If sleep apnoea is suspected, we may recommend a home sleep study to help determine which appliance may be most appropriate for you.

A diagnosis of sleep apnoea is made by a medical practitioner.
