Dental care for every member of
your family
Finding a dentist who can care for your whole family makes it simpler to look after your oral health. From a child’s first dental visit through to ongoing care for adults and seniors, CFS Dental provides personalised treatment for every stage of life.

Our family dentistry approach focuses on prevention, early diagnosis, and long-term oral health. Regular preventive care helps us monitor your oral health, identify concerns early, and recommend treatment before more complex problems develop.

Whether you’re visiting for your routine dental check-up or bringing your family in together, our team is here to make every appointment comfortable, informative and supportive.

Why patients choose a family dentist?

1
Having one dental practice care for your family offers continuity, convenience, and a better understanding of your long-term oral health.
1
Our team enjoys getting to know our patients over time, allowing us to monitor changes in your oral health, provide personalised advice, and support your dental needs as they evolve through different stages of life.
1
Whenever possible, we try to schedule appointments for multiple family members on the same day, helping make dental visits more convenient for busy families.

A strong focus on prevention

Preventive care is at the heart of family dentistry. Regular dental examinations and professional cleans can help identify potential concerns before they become more complex, supporting healthier smiles for years to come.

At CFS Dental, our comprehensive 60-minute hygiene appointments provide additional time for preventive care, oral health assessment, and personalised advice to help you maintain your smile between visits. For children, regular dental visits may also allow us to monitor tooth eruption and development, jaw growth and bite development, oral hygiene habits, and other developing concerns where appropriate.

During your appointment, we will take any necessary dental X-rays. We’ll then assess your teeth and gums, screen for oral cancer, and assess your overall oral health before providing personalised recommendations based on your individual needs.

Supporting healthy growth and development

Regular dental visits allow us to do more than simply check for tooth decay.

Depending on your child’s age and individual needs, we may monitor:
  • Tooth eruption and development
  • Jaw growth and bite development
  • Oral hygiene habits
  • Thumb sucking or other oral habits
  • Mouth breathing
  • The need for early orthodontic assessment where appropriate
If we identify any developing concerns, we’ll discuss them with you and explain any recommendations based on your child’s individual circumstances.
Dental care through

every stage of life
As your family’s dental needs change over time, we’re here to provide personalised care and ongoing support at every stage of life. Whether you’re attending for routine preventive care, bringing your child for a dental visit, or require more complex treatment, we’ll tailor our care to individual needs.

Routine Preventive CareRegular dental examinations, professional cleans, and preventive care help maintain healthy teeth and gums while allowing us to help prevent problems and identify concerns as early as possible.
For children, this may also include fluoride treatments, fissure sealants, and preventive oral health advice.
1
Restorative Treatment
If a tooth has been damaged or affected by decay, treatments such as tooth-coloured fillings, dental crowns, and root canal therapy may help restore its health, function, and appearance.
1
Gum Health Support
Healthy gums are an important part of a healthy smile. Where appropriate, we’ll recommend periodontal treatment to help manage gum disease and support your long-term oral health.
1
Ongoing Smile Planning
As your oral health needs change, we can provide wisdom tooth assessments, dental implant consultations, and personalised treatment planning.
For children, we may also monitor jaw growth, bite development, oral habits, mouth breathing, and the need for early orthodontic assessment where appropriate.
If additional treatment is recommended, we’ll explain the options clearly so you can make informed decisions about your care.
